And let me just say, while I wish I could grow my Biocare prescription in the backyard (how convenient would that be?), I could grow nourishing foods to support my health and weight loss journey. My garden became both a physical workout and a soulful outlet—feeding not just my body, but my mind and spirit too.
Health Isn’t Just About the Gym
Here’s the truth: not everyone’s path to health includes the gym or lifting heavy weights. And that’s okay. We don’t all have to fit into one mold. What matters is finding movement and joy that works for you. For me, it was my garden. For someone else, it could be painting, hiking, dancing in the living room, or simply walking the dog.
The key is joy + intention. When food noise no longer dominates your mind, you get the privilege of rediscovering what brings happiness to your life.
