How much protein is in each product?
Every Biocare and Biocare2 dietary beverage provides 30g of protein per serving. Biocare Entrées provide 35g per serving, which includes collagen peptides.
How much fiber is in each product?
Biocare beverages provide 6g of dietary fiber per serving. Biocare2 beverages provide 9-11g depending on flavor. Biocare Entrées range from 5g to 12g, with Savory Chili highest at 12g.
Do any Biocare products contain gluten?
Two Entrées contain gluten-containing ingredients: Creamy Alfredo Pasta with Ch’ken and Taco Pasta. The beverages, Savory Chili, and Sloppy Joe are made without gluten-containing ingredients. They are not certified gluten-free, so we do not make a gluten-free claim — if you avoid gluten for medical reasons, review the full ingredient list on the product page or the package.
How much caffeine is in Biocare and Biocare2?
Biocare2 contains 100mg of caffeine per serving, from green coffee bean extract — for reference, an 8oz cup of regular coffee contains about 135mg. The Biocare Chocolate and Chocolate Salted Caramel beverages contain under 10mg, occurring naturally in cocoa. Biocare Vanilla, Strawberries & Cream, and all Entrées contain none.
Do the beverages contain dairy or lactose?
Yes. Both beverage lines contain milk and soy. Lactose per serving is listed in the tables above and ranges from under 1.5g to 3.5g — for reference, 8oz of milk contains about 12g. These products are not dairy-free or vegan.
Are the products kosher?
The Biocare and Biocare2 dietary beverages and the Biocare Entrées are not kosher certified. Kosher status is listed per product in the tables above.
How long can I keep a shake after mixing?
For the best taste and texture, enjoy your shake within 30 minutes of mixing. That window applies whether it sits out or goes in the refrigerator — chilling keeps it cold, but it doesn’t extend the 30 minutes, so mix a packet when you’re ready to drink it rather than preparing ahead. Holding it longer isn’t a safety concern, but you may notice natural changes in color, thickness, or separation; a quick shake or stir usually takes care of it.
